so i'll ask here first so i just sound like one. (and sorry if this is the wrong place to post) are CNC machines standard as far as metal and wood cutting. i just realized i live litterally 100 yards from a custom metal machine shop and might have them do a few wood cnc carvings(guitar head, 12th fret inlay) if they can. i know that they might have policy against doing wood in a metal shopd, but if the machines are different from the get-go, saves me a trip of looking like a moron in person.
totally different machines. from the tooling to the machine itself.
dont metal ones use sand to blast and cut the metal ?
