Im lookin for stuff like G&L, or the Vintage Plus line of ESP's, what guitars out there can get a great single coil tone besides Fender and have a great tonal flexibility?

I think he means Stratocasters, not superstrats. Look at copy era Japanese guitars, good quality, cheap(ish) prices.

When people think of Carvin they usually think of the DC Superstrats but they have a line of Strat copies called Bolts. I've never actually played one because I'm not that into Strats but I hear nice things.

EDIT: Nevermind, beaten to it already.
