So I have and Epiphone electric guitar and I'm wonder what the difference is (if any) between it and the Epiphone Les Paul. I've seen the Les Paul editions at the store and the look pretty much the same, except for the "Les Paul" branding.

So what's the difference? The wood? The pickups? Just the branding? I bought mine probably 5 or so years ago and I'm just curious.

I believe that is an LP 100 or something like that...might be a studio..the biggest difference are:

binding
wood
the way the neck is put in (yours is bolt on, while standard les pauls are set)
inlays

and some other stuff probably that i cant think of...

Right, gotcha. I took a look at the Epi site (duh, why didn't I think of it before) and it's the LP100, which I suppose is the lowest model of the Epi LPs. Thanks!

there are two models lower than the 100. the special II, and the junior.

Well, that does make me feel a little better now! Haha, I was just going by the order they listed them on the Epi site, but yeah, you're right, looks like there are two lower models.
