loud, aggressive, random notes/mental solos for no apparent reason...iv done it before and it works fine if you have a decent keyboardist...which is kinda not the point of punk, might make it more hard rock than punk...
but can you play guitar? can your drummer keep time? can your bassist play bass? can your singer sing? if the answer to any of them is yes then you aren't punk anyway so it doesn't really matter lol

Trying to be different is what it's all about. Plenty of bands have used pianos/organs.
I've seen one million toilets...

AND I ROCKED THEM ALL!

Well if you get a keyboardist you're not conforming to the traditional punk band, therefore you're punk, congrats.

Everyone who said keyboards =/= p0nx is wrong wrong wrong!
Keyboards = super p0nx. I do an excellent version of "I'm Waiting for the Man" by the Velvets on keyboards.

I've always wished that the Voidoids did some keyboard arrangements of their songs...

Music genres are not determined by what instruments you play. That's like determining what genre a movie is based on what props are used.

A prop can be on film for as short a period as one frame so it's not possible. If I knew they had lots of time on camera I could narrow it down to probably being a documentary, comedy, crime drama, performance art piece or pornography but none of those are exclusive to any one of them.

Very true hahaha

Punk can have a great variety of instruments, its just the guitar/bass/drums set up is most common. Do what sounds good to you, I'd recommend playing choppy chords to give the music depth but yeah, whatever works for you just stop worrying about sounding "punk"

If you want a keyboard in the band, get one. If not, don't. It doesn't matter if it's punk.

Keyboards are badass. I played keyboard for 5 years until I picked up guitar (also around the same time I started listening to punk)
