Quick question and Id like a quick answer, no smart a$$ remarks please.

I have 2 Les Pauls, a Studio and a Standard. I haven't played my Studio for a while and when I picked it up yesterday the Bridge PU is acting strange. With my pedals off I get no sound at all through the Bridge, but Neck is fine. When I engage my pedals I get a non-distorted weak sound (almost like a clean single coil) from the Bridge and full distortion from the Neck.

Probably the wiring is loose on the pick up???

Anyone else had this happen?

Thanks in advance

more likely to be the pickup selector wiring. what about in middle position?

i sya just open it up and make sure all the connections to pots and selector are clean. if not, resolder them. that should fix your problem.

First check the volume knob ( guess you did)
Then check the wiring on the pickup and the volume pot if that's all fine then i think either your pup or your volume pot is broken (the Pickup isnt that good anyway)

See what i did thar?

It's the pickup selector. My cousins LP Double Cut did the same thing. Just wiggle the switch around and and it should come back to life. If not open it up and take a look. (wiggle side to side, back and forth. Not just swich pu positons.)
Life is like an Empty Box, there could be something exciting in it at first look, but upon further review, well, it's empty.
