Don't worry, Anonymous will probably burn down the courtroom.
I play by my own rules. And I have one rule; There are no rules... but if there are, they're there to be broken. Even this one.

I seem to remember a Muslim demonstration walking through the middle of London with placards reading "Death to all who oppose Islam", it was shown widely across the media. Yet I dont remember anyone being issued a summons

Yeah, it is a cult, like Kabbalah. It's not really a negative term on its own. That's retarded. His protest wasn't to do with semantics anyway, it's the ideology that he rejects.
#12
Well the boy should've taken his sign down if asked to by a police officer.

It's just a dangerous, corrupted way of taking money off idiots. I was planning on going to the June 17th protest in edinburgh, but after seeing that I don't know what to think. I might just stand there with a sign saying "Don't call scientology a cult'... does that count as illegal too?

So why can't we use the word 'cult' to describe what is effectively a cult, but protesters can scream 'murderers!' at anti-abortion rallies which is completely subjective?

The power to feel with others give.

Hmm?

They prosecuted a few for 'inciting racial hatred' or whatever it's called I believe

I don't trust any of our newspapers, either. There's clearly far more to this than we're being told.

Personally, I agree that there's more to this than we're being told. However, this isn't some hyperbolic tabloid (Daily Mail **cough**cough**), I think that the Guardian do a pretty good job when it comes to facts.

+1 but it is a bit subjective. Right-wing tabloids are more obvious about it, but lefty newspapers do the same thing albeit in a slightly more intellectual manner. Read the Independent if you like your truth with a little less bias.

A policewoman later read him section five of the Public Order Act and "strongly advised" him to remove the sign. The section prohibits signs which have representations or words which are threatening, abusive or insulting.
