A friend just sent me the song Speed Demon by Michael Jackson, and i was quite suprised to find there are some amazing runs in there. Anyhow, my question is, does anyone have any idea who the bassist for this track was? Was wondering if it was a re-release in the mould of Beat it + Van Halen?

well i'll be. How'd you aquire that little list? my search of "speed demon (song)" led to an interesting yet unhelpful article on some film he made that it was in...

Despite having read this list....who played the bass parts? presumably either Bill Bottrell or David Williams?

searched for Michael Jackson on wiki, then went on his discography then clicked on the bad album and the credits for each song were on there.

I think it might not even be bass. I think it's synth.

I think Nathan East played some of the bass parts on that album so it could have been him.
