I've been playing for over a year, and never really gotten my fretboard squeeky clean like after I bought it. My hands sweat a lot, I have to clean off my strings after each day playing even when I wash my hands beforehand. As a result, my fretboard gets kinda nasty. I've been using a dry towel to try and scrape the crap away, there has got to be a better way.

So summed up, how do I clean my fretboard? It be nasty.

lemon oil. if you go to a guitar shop they usually sell some. if you have a maple neck though, do NOT use it. it'll **** it up.

You don't even have to take the strings off. I don't.
