What kind of pedal can i get to sound like Tom? To name a few song examples, no Shelter, Testify, Bulls on Parade, Take the power Back. I only have about $60, and i want some thing cheap btw.

He doesn't normally use an OD or distortion. All his distortion is out of a JCM800 2205. He does use a DOD EQ as a boost though. If you can find an OD or distortion that will make your amp sound more like a JCM800, then you should be good.

try using your amp with a lower to mid type gain setting. have ur mids high and your treble just slightly higher. bass is prolly half or less. i think single coils might help.

but his sound is very crunchy and marshally.

You aren't able to get a Morello tone out of your Fallen Angel?

I'd think they'd be perfect for that sort of thing.

The only pedal I can think of that would get you a Marshall tone would be an MI Audio Crunchbox, but those are about $120.
