It's about time I just get over my fear of Fender and get a real one.

Anyone have a Strat that they would like to part with? MIM or MIJ is great. Beat up is ok, as long it's a player. No more Squiers for me.

I'm looking to keep the price down.

Thanks,

try some stuff from the ESP Vintage series. i've heard they make a better strat than Fender does.

In that case, get a G&L.

No I'm not Jesus. I would aspire to be though. I think under circumstances he would let you pay less if you needed to.

I'm in the US. I appreciate the ESP and G&L suggestions. I'm looking for a Fender. I have a Squier circa 1987 - first guitar. I've just never owned a real strat. I probably won't even play it. In fact, a beat up MIM would be great, so I can customize it.

Thanks.
