I just recently discovered Randy Rhoads, yet him and Van Halen are already shaping my playing. So who are some other guitarists/bands that are similar? I plan on buying lots of music soon. So here I go-
1. I want to get some Dream Theater. If I was to get one of there albums, what should it be? One or two, incase the store doesn't have one.
2.Other than Best of Both worlds, Van Halen, and 1984, what is probably the best Van Halen album?
3.What are some bands/guitarists similar to Rhoads/Van Halen?
4.I love MoP, I plan on getting Kill Em All and Ride the Lightning, any other similar, kick-ass metallica albums?
5.What A7X album to get, if only one?
6.Whats undoubtedly the best shred album ever?

I know this is a lot to ask, but any answers here would help me immensly. So to those who respond, thanks!

For A7X if you love shred and high polished productions get city of evil.

If you prefer your music a bit more dirty get waking the fallen

Here are my replys with the Q No next to them.

2. Balance is awesome for Van Halen!

3. I am really into Paul Gilbert at the moment and would recommend his new instrument guitar shred album 'Silence Followed By A Deafening Roar'

If you want speed then try Rusty Cooley. F*ckin amazin!! See him on you tube!

4. I would recommend the black album as well for Metallica.

Hey good luck with the rest!
