Anyone have any tips on learning how to play behind your head? My friend really wants me to and I've tried and failed horribly

Any suggestions on how to hold my guitar? Epiphone G-400, kind of awkward.

Yeah, if you know your way around the fretboard without looking, then you should be fine.

Just try not to choke yourself with the strap.

I've got no tips but I think playing like this looks better and would probably be easier.

take the guitar, lift it above your head, place hand on fretboard, position picking hand then proceed with the normal actions that take place during playing

in all honesty im not kidding .... if you can play it without looking at the frets just make sure your fingers are in the starting position of the rhythm or solo your going to play and set away.

It's more a problem of supporting the guitar and holding it right so that I can move my left hand well enough. I don't really look at my fretboard much anyways.
Thanks though, guys.

try leaning your head forward slightly so that the guitar can lie straight across your shoulders

What part of the guitar should be on my shoulders/neck?

well i presume youll be holding the guitar upside down so that the playing position is much the same for your fretting and picking so it would be the top edge of your guitar resting on your shoulders.
