so here's my problem..
i just got a squire and i cant get a good distortion sound.
I have a VOX AD30VT btw
the current amp settings work with my other guitar (hamer?)
So is it because of the pick up types?
please help
Is your guitar SSS or HSS?

A humbucker will sound more fat and warm.
Barry White is cooler than you

I really wish I could say you're funny and cool, but that would be like saying Africa doesn't have a poverty problem.
Well im going to assume you have an all single coil squier. If so then it will be more difficult to get a heavy distortion out of it than your Hammer. But play around with the tone knobs on the squier(they are often overly bright) and mess with the eq on the amp. also consider getting a distortion pedal
people with large sig's are clearly compensating for something.
