Cheers

Iron Maiden- Hallowed Be Thy Name (Especially the part at 2:53)

Best harmony EVAR.

Except like, every other metal song ever to exist has a harmony somewhere. I just can't think of any for some retarded reason.

Hard as Iron solo by Judas priest
The second part.
Stunning.

Actually, it might just be doubled. But it still sounds awesome.

Fail.

Iron Maiden - The Trooper, just after the intro. Maiden have lots of great harmony stuff with dave and adrian.

Every harmony by Thin Lizzy ever.

I was gonna say Thin Lizzy. If I sat and thought I could maybe think of better but I'll say Thin Lizzy, they don't get enough love round these parts.

i may need a flame shield for this but Avenged Sevenfold have harmonies in almost all of their songs. at least everything from Waking the Fallen on.

Its not quite harmonized, but try the outro to Pestilence by The Faceless. Pretty great little duel thing in there.
Also try the entire song of Crossing the Rubicon by The Human Abstract.

Am I the only one who thinks Metallica's harmonies always sound really odd? It's good but... Weird. They sound different to any other harmonies I've heard, and I want to know how they managed it...

Blind Guardian has some nice ones.

Check out "Welcome to Dying", has an amazing interlude riff and the end of the solo is orgasmic.

As well as "Mirror Mirror" by them.
I actually do have schizophrenia, so stop making fun of people who have it.

Some fun, easy ones to learn:

trivium - gunshot to the head of trepidation
avenged - unholy confessions

killswitch also have a bunch of songs that are harmonised/layered.
God and Country are an unbeatable team; they break all records for oppression and bloodshed.

Yeah, I tried learning it by ear and it hardly sounded close.

I always thought "For Whom the Bells Toll" had an odd harmony. Still good though.

avenged sevenfold has a lot of good ones. theres a mini harmonized bridge in Lost, the intro in Afterlife is great, and even though its really cliche, their Bat Country solo.

Yup.

Another good example is the harmony just before the solo in Eye of the Beholder. It's just seriously like
