I got some strap locks for my sheraton II. I started screwing them in and felt more and more resistance (more than there should be) and so I just told myself that it wasn't worth it and started to take it out. Then, the screw stripped! I now can not get the screw out and I just read that you have to drill in strap locks . What can I do? Did I mess up something in my guitar that can't be fixed?

EDIT: and the dunlop screws are cheap anyway. If i can get this screw out, I am going to the hardware store and buying new ones.

I know that the guys at my music shop uses some kind of drill to get broken screws out, but you might need to fill the hole afterwards, refinish, and then put in a new screw.

Better than hooked on crack, I suppose. I'd rather know my kids are safe at home beating their meat than out in the world robbing old women for their crack fix.

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.
