EDIT: sorry about that... Next time PLEASE use the thread I created. First thing that comes to mind for me is Tchaikovsky, you know the guy that wrote swan lake . And also try one of vivaldis 4 seasons, especially winter and summer. It might be a little too bright though...

It's okay. It just got stickied like 10 minutes ago. I was worried it was going to get ignored. Oh the irony when I saw this thread....

And try In the Hall of the Mountain King, by Edvard Grieg. It's another one that comes to mind, but it's more of a "dark" or "scary" feel than a sad feel.

What are you looking for? Who's playing it? How long can it be (a full symphony? just one movement? 2 minutes?)
