I just discovered a possible very bad habit in my playing.

I notice between alot of my chord transitions in most of the songs I play, I tend to rake two times or so as my fingers are touching the strings and are getting ready to move to the next one. I play acoustic so its not as noticeable but once I get my electric this could suck.

I figure I'm doing it to keep my timing or something. Should I put an effort to cut it out or is it even normal? I'll try to make a recording at some point show an example. maybe I'm just overreacting because its 2am and I've been drinking
this is a post. there are many like it but this one is mine

Keep it in the back of your mind, but as you progress it will naturally go away.
