I'm getting a new guitar and I want your help in deciding which one too get. I've narrowed it down between a Daphne Blue American made Fender Stratocaster and a cherry sunburst Gibson Les Paul. I like the pickups on the Les Paul but I love the style of the Strat and just basically how it feels. What do you guys think I should do? Your help would be greatly appreciated

its all yr own personal preference. Choose a piece of music youlove, and play it on both the guitars.

See which you prefer it on (sound, feel e.t.c.)

If I got a strat I would get single coils and put a DiMarzio HS-3 in the bridge Malmsteen style

I would go with the strat
Gibson SG Standard
Ibanez S2170FB
Peavey JSX
Marshall 1960A
TEXAS A&M

I would get Gibson, but if you got Fender put a hotrail in the bridge. And get a humbucker in the back.

Why not buy the strat and put humbuckers in it?
American strats are routed for an HSH configuration. Buy the pickups that the les paul you played has, and put them in the strat
