So, my tube combo is really quiet on both the clean and distortion channel. Thought it might be a tube so I put in the stock tubes (power and preamp) and no change at all. I checked the fuse even though the amp would probably not work anyway if that was blown and it was fine. I tried several different cables and the same result. Don't think it is a loose input wire because the signal does not change. It is a strat and is a huge hassle to get into the electronics cavity but i will try that next. Any help would be appreciated besides people saying, Thanks

That happened to my strat, turned out a wire on the inside had broken, check that.

Maybe any one of these;
>Pickup Height
>Broken Volume Pot
>Some sort of effects unit in the loop who's "level" is down too low
>Weak battery on any effects unit
>An ultra long fx chain
>Maybe you're plugged into the low input by mistake (probably not though)
>It could be a bad connection on the input jack inside the amplifier.
>Worn out volume pot on guitar
>If your guitar has active pickups, the battery could be out.
>OT (Output Transformer) - Don't really know enough about that, but I'm sure that it could effect volume.
>Is the volume low? lol

Hope any of those help.

Maybe something with the speakers? I suggest you take it to a tech (after checking the most basic things at least), because there could be something wrong inside the amp.

Speaker has no visual damage
Effects were immediately taken out of the equation
Seymour duncan non active pickups
Have tried both Hi and Low gain inputs and nothing changes
Pickup height has not changed whatsoever from when it worked in first place
Replaced pots with cts pots last year (great quality)
Really hope it is not the transformer
Thanks for the replies, and if any other thoughts come up, let me know

...try playing through it with your other guitar and see if it still does it?

Sorry if you've already tryed that.

I can't because my other guitar is under construction. I looked inside the strat and no loose wires and seems fine, ??? Guess i'll have to get it looked at.
