:

A song doesn't have to have any of those features in order to be a good song.

But I'll say Mt. Saint Michel Mix+ St. Michaels Mount- Aphex Twin. I love the way the track progresses from a heavy Drill 'n' Bass style into a quiet piano melody, plus the beats are amazing.

Because it's the recent American Idol winner's band! DUH!

Duh!?

It fits the criteria, thats why lol. Also, Veil of Maya - It's Not Safe To Swim Today. One of my favorite songs right now (thats why).
We're only strays.

I like the last criteria. How the **** do you define that? Or just any criteria... Aren't those pretty much based on opinions?

Heaven and Hell by Black Sabbath. I don't know why, but the second guitar solo amazes me everytime. And Bill Ward pwns

Can't Stand Me Now - Libertines

Sure, it's not such a renowned heavy hitter as others may be, but it sure as hell portrays exactly how Carl's and Pete's relationship existed.

All that remains- Vicious Betrayal

Starts off fats. Its a decent paced song. Lyrics about a girl's betrayal. The first guitar is awesome. The last guitar solo is very memorable. The vocals ranged from low death metal grunts to to mid growl. Awesome song in general.

"Oceanic" and "Panopticon" are fantastic albums.

But, really, if you're going to like ISIS, at least get into the band that made the members of ISIS want to play that style of music.

Neurosis.

"Through Silver in Blood" ftw.

Lazarus- Chimaira.
The vocals, lyrics, guitars, and drums mesh together to form a powerful, haunting piece.

Miasma- Black Dahlia Murder.
The vox, drums, and especially guitar (the main melody is eargasmic) are amazing.

Bed of Razors- Children of Bodom.
It's the Wildchild. Need I say more?

I just thought I would say that I don't think that should be a "criteria".

There are plenty of amazing bands that are all instrumental, and just as relevant as any band with vocals.

Just my two cents.
