So, i've been putting music on my computer, and now my ma's worried it'll break our computer. Our computer is a dell with probably 80-100GBs. and so far i have 1.67Gb of music, and will probably have over 2.

so will it break our computer?

um...

Have you ever used a computer before?

I've got 20 gigs of music, and iTunes isn't my problem. uTorrent, though, is another story

I thought uTorrent was supposed to be good... I have it...
What problems are there with it?

ITunes won't break your computer, bt it might slow it down a bit. I've heard it can be a memory wh0re.

It may also install Ipod listening software which takes up unnecessary memory. It's entire purpose is to detect Ipods "slightly" faster.

No, but Winamp is superior.

I'm an Apple fanboy, but yes. Winamp>all.

I always end up having to like triple-delete my browsing history after I get any torrent... My computer gets wicked laggy.

you'll be perfectly fine. i have like 19.5 gigs of music and it isnt an issue.

EDIT: i was thinking that you were wondering if the music would mess it up. you want to know about iTunes though. no, iTunes wont hurt your computer. neither will the music.

The question you need to ask yourself is,

Why would a major corporation make software avaliable for download that's loaded with viruses?
For ****s and giggles?

yeah not likely

Same thing I was thinking. If you download a trusted, well know program from a trusted site, you will be fine.

You don't even buy iTunes, it's free. Get your story straight.

I'm betting the porn showed up because of something else you were doing, not iTunes.
and this moment keeps on movin'
we were never meant to hold on.
