well all i have for my song so far is a D-chord...
i need to make it intense how can i do this here are the tabs to my song so far...

Dude what the **** thats just plain retarded its a D-chord being strummed like **** try atleast leaning a chord progression instead of knowing one chord and thinking that you can write a song

thats wha ti mean i need help wit h cord progressions starting at a D but i can't find anything that sounds good to go with it

Forget asking here - you need to form the song in your head first. Once you've got an idea then you'll at least be able to make the sounds with your voice, then you just need to translate that to the guitar.

Nobody's really going to be able to help you with this, it's just Dm D Dsus2 currently...you could play anything with that, it could get horrendously complex or it could just need one more chord. We don't know what kind of song it is, how fast it is, what you have in mind for it etc.

If you have the majority of a song structure and are missing that one elusive chord, or are looking for a scale to play over chords or even chords to play under a lead line then people can help. However, a few D chords simply isn't enough for anyone to go one...it's like asking someone for help writing a story when all you've got so far is twenty of the word "the"!
