1) No, you can't get it left handed
2) Don't bother with it since it's a downgrade form the regular Custom anyway. The third pickup on the BB means you get less sustain, less tonal response, and it means you can't do standard pickup combinations like bridge/neck, and you can't make use of the middle pickup properly like neck/middle or bridge/middle. Basically you're actually limiting your tonal options, as well as reducing the tonal quality, and you're losing a big chunk of responsiveness and sustain. It's not worth paying more for that.
Yes, I know everything. No, I can't play worth a damn.

i have the black beauty and i love it, the action is set really good and the neck feels good too, the pick-ups are surprisingly pretty decent most epi stock pups are bad( or so i've heard) but if you can get it lefty go for it

I've tried a made-in-Korea Black Beauty I found in a local pawn shop. It impressed me, though I only ever played it unplugged.

Dunno how the made-in-China ones are, though.
Do YOU know who Les Paul is?

-Epiphone Dot Studio
Amps:

-BBE Soul Vibe
-Boss OD-1 Overdrive
-Ibanez DE-7 Delay

Basically buy an Epi Custom. The Black Beauty is the Epi Custom, but only available in black (regular Custom can be black, white, cherry burst or vintage burst), the BB has different coloured knobs, and it has less sustain and flatter tone. Not worth the money.

Buy a regular Epi Custom/Custom Plus (Custom is solid white or black, Custom Plus is cherry or vintage burst over flame maple - otherwise they're the same). Better than the Black Beauty (and I know at least two of the colour options are available left handed). Any money left over, spend on upgrades...

nice build and playability but the pickups and 3 way switch suck.

consider changing them soon after purchase (if you're set on buying it, of course).
#15
i wish my shop would bloody order them in!
but overall which is the better guitar?

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

if you worried about not getting standard pickup cofigurations you can easily get 3 volume knobs and a master tone then you can get even more combinations i love this guitar.......

I have a lefty Epiphone Les Paul Custom and I love it. I would definitely recommend it.
