Sooo I need all new gear lost all my guitar stuff including amps!!

I need an acoustic preferably not over $400.

I'm want maybe 3 new guitars one thats for shred, one for metal rhythm that can also leads, and one that do it all (blues, funk, fusion, rock and a little metal) Though I don't want to spend over $2,000 on a single guitar.

for the shred im thinking a Xiphos
for the metal rhythm i thought about getting a Gibson explorer (or an ESP EC)
for doing it all i want a strat or a tele ( tho i wanted a PRS they are way to expensive)

amp wise i want something that crank it like 50Ws or higher...... it has to be Metal and be able to versatile at the same time... or maybe i could get two less expense amps one metal and one versatile. nothing over $2,000 again... .i was thinking a 50150 combo amp or a B52 AT-100 or some kind of marshall

If u guys could help me out w/ deciding that would awesome, Thanks

Just buy a Les Paul, then get a really nice marshall. this combo shouldn't cost over 5,000 and it'll cover any tone/feel you want it to.

Not sure about guitars but for the amp get a vox AD50VT. Ive got the 30w version and it plays anything. By far the best amp ive played.

I'm look through PRS's right now... but which specific one would u recommend

You can get a used PRS for under $2,000. Though somehow I doubt your house just burned down and your worried about spending $8400 on new gear

Acoustic - $400
"guitar for shred" - $2000

$8400 Max.

Although if it is true, you could spend less than 2k on something and use whats left over for other things...

Edit: What seems to be the most recommended PRS is PRS Custom 24.

He has $2,000, he ain't going to get a Vox AD

Look at a PRS Custom 24 and a Mesa Roadking

you seem awfully upbeat for your house to be burnt down and all your gear to be lost. I would be devastated

wow....that ****ing sucks...i feel so bad for all of you. Now for help....for a guitar i'd get a schecter, they are reallly versitile. a c-1 classic could do shred, rhythm, and it all, but if you want to get more than one, i'd get a strat for the "all" and a get a schecter for shred and metal. Acoustic, you could get a taylor 110, those are pretty cheap and really nice. and for amp if you want metal i would get marshall dsl401, or get a mesa express 5:25 (i think it's a stilleto). It has 4 channels, clean, crunch, blues, and burn. There you go, best of luck.

you asked about an acoustic, if you want an opinion, you need to weed thru the bull**** posts and answer a few things.
