Hey guys, im going to America later this year, and if I was to purchase a Strat in the USA, would I have to pay import tax to bring it back to the UK. If so, how do I get around this?! Thanks guys!

my mate got a high end martin through customs, he beat up the case so it didnt look like a brand new guitar. a tip is to use sun cream and talc to make it look dusty..bo'yea, cheat the system.

oh yea and various bumper stickers are good, slap em on too!

If you have it as a carryon and don't wave around a bag or something that screams "BRANDNEW HURRRR" you'll be fine.
