Who's the best live band you've seen?
Mines Enter Shikari or Machine Head.

Seeing Rage in august at leeds.
So thats a contender!
#2
I'd have to say My Vitriol, even though nobody will have heard of them.

They show was like 2 hours of the best head Ive ever had, but for my ears.
#3
Radiohead is pretty cool live.

Johnny's in the basement, mixin' up the medicine.
I'm on the pavement, thinkin' 'bout the government.

Machine Head are amazing live but ive only seen them once... Nobody will like me for saying this, but Trivium are good live too lol. Ive seen them twice. Maiden are immense live too. That was the first time i saw Trivium live, when they were supporting Maiden. Saw them again at the Black Crusade tour.

either Megadeth or Down. Probably leaning towards Down cause Rex Brown's a badass.

You keep seeing songs like KoC, SMBH, and Hysteria showing up on games, but I want Micro Cuts on either Rock Band or Sing Star. I want to see numerous masses of kids staring at the tv wondering what the hell they're supposed to do.

Muse.

Trivium are good.

But at black crusade, all throughout their set, about 100 people were chanting...
"MACHINE ****IN' HEAD!"
Was hilarious but..

They were better on their Crusade tour.

Either Nile or Iron Maiden

Thats funny, I've seen Machine Head be on the bill before Trivum. (Openin for lamb of god). They are pretty good though.

But I'd have to say the Foo Fighters or Pearl Jam

Children of Bodom, Chimaira, Black Dahlia Murder.

really?
even though bodoms one of my favourite bands, theyre pretty meh live, not too exciting they just kind of stand there and play the music very drunkenly

and chimaira sucked ass live

Foo Fighters are amazing live. Jimmy Eat World isn't bad as well. Some of you may not agree, but stage presence and crowd connectivity, the best that I've seen, hands down, goes to Switchfoot. Jon Foreman is very connected with the crowd, saw them April 26th. Best night of my life.

Haha, Leeds Fest! I'm going too, only on the Friday though. Can't wait to see A7X, Metallica, Tenacious D and Slipknot all on one stage!

EDIT: On topic, my friends band Internecine played with Evile, and they played better than Evile themselves.

Sanctity are good live too.

And dare I say it, so are Trivium. Flame away! I like them.
#26
Dude, you saw Enter Shikari? That's sweet.

My best ones were Escape the Fate, As I Lay Dying, and Underoath.
#29
I'm only there for saturday.
Killer metal day on friday.
Leeds Friday > Download weekend!

Muse is amazing live, Johnny Winter + Friends are amazing live, but really
The Mars Volta is for the win.
#32
Yonder Mountain String Band and Sam Bush are t ied for best concert I have been too. Both at Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival.

I haven't really seen a concert I didn't like though, even local ones 'cuz even if the band sucks it is fun. Except this one band who's set includes a 15 minute drum solo at every f*cking show. No matter how short the show is. And it isn't even in a song, it is just a drum solo. And the drummer doesn't ever change it.
#34
Santana is amazing live.
So are the Allman brothers.
Cream was good live, especially when they kicked out the 20 minute jams.

Chiodos for the win.

Chiodos is awesome live.

Metallica put on an amazing show. Children of Bodom, Megadeth, Apocalyptica, Rob Zombie, Black Label Society, all killer shows. Metallica was the best though.
