She lives in the next town!

You must ride your family cow over there and make sweet small town love. Then make sure she isn't the town bicycle.

Or maybe go for some 60s vietnam protest songs, where people focused on making a point instead of making music.

Everything SlinkyBlue said as well as:

Jefferson Airplane
Cat Stevens
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Donovan
The Steve Miller Band
Grateful Dead

More Modernly:
Phish
The Flaming Lips
EDIT: I also want to +1 The Polyphonic Spree. Any band that uses the theramin is bomb in my book.

The hippie, not hippy, era was marked more by the bring about of the drug LSD not pot. but anywho:

1. Big brother & the holding company
2. Jefferson Airplane
3. Grateful Dead
4. Bob Dylan

Basically all the Monteray Bay stars

Strawberry Alarm Clock - Pepper Mints something. It's their only song so don't worry.
Donovan - Wear Your Love Like Heaven

Can't get more hippie than that.

What about Frank Zappa, or Captain Beefheart? Not really about sharing, but you know there was pot (or something) involved...

WRONG, Zappa didn't do drugs.

Did you know the odds of a Vault-Tec shelter failing are 1,763,497 to 1?

So imagine life in a Vault-Tec Vault. Not just a future.
A brighter future... underground.

Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.

Is that a ukulele in your pants, or did you just rip ass to the tune of "Aloha Oi"?

I met Sonic Youth on June 30th, and Mars Volta on Oct 20th.

Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit
Strawberry Alarm Clock - Incense & Peppermints
The Zombies - Time of the Season

Those are my favourite songs with a hippy-ish vibe.
California sunlight, sweet Calcutta rain, Honolulu star-bright, the song remains the same.

Casting quarters into wells that hold our dreams.

Believe in the freedom of music.

With our love, we could save the world.

incense and peppermints. not their only song i have a full album. it was their biggest hit though. they are more early psycadellic than straight up hippie but really whats the difference
