came to debating post in ebay (check it here )

It talked the paradox that ppl criticized brand guitars made in china but ppl keep buying guiatars from say BJ silk market while on trip there or from online wholesale site such as cheapguitarcenter.

ppl criticize for china's oem or imitating big brands. ppl buy for high quality and low price owing to cheap labor cost in china.

frankly, i buy china stuff and i m not against china stuff

what's your views?

you will get fakes all over the world a good guitar is not reliant on where it is made for it to be a good guitar it's just that alot of online fakes are made in China
#3
I have no problem with instruments made in china but i HATE the chinese scam sellers on ebay selling a gibson knock off and saying things like "traditional very beautiful chinese craftsmanship" and selling the guitar for abou £1 they are really anoying as they are an obvios scam and just get in the way of serious sellers who i might actually make a purchase from

I actually have one of those cheap ebay guitars, one of the first electrics i owned.

was a surprisingly good guitar, outplayed most low end epiphones

If they can have a firewall that keeps our political views unaccessible for all Chinese computers , then why can't we have one filtering all their ****!
Yeah, now you're gonna die wearing that stupid little hat. How does it feel?

Chinese **** is ****. It's unfortunate that if you try to avoid buying Chinese ****, you'll end up not owning anything...

Our quest for cheap **** from China has left us with a market filled with disposable ****, you can't buy high quality merchandise anymore unless you pay an outrageous amount to have something custom made by a specialist (that's what I do, I'm a cabinet builder- 100x better product, 10x higher price).

More importantly, in the desire to maximize profits, our companies buy everything from overseas and make nothing for export, so our economy is all give and no take. All our money is going elsewhere in the world, we are bringing nothing in... that's why we're in a recession and our economy is getting worse.

Because an emerging world superpower doesn't really give a **** about your political views... or anyone else's but their own for that matter - and that is the way global commerece works. Sorry about the harsh reality check but it is what it is.

China came to the USA to buy fire engines, made an order with a company for 1200 units. China took one unit home then cancelled the order. China now make the same Fire engine, but not as good. China takes our money then points nukes at us. I think China should get bent.
Thank god for Walmart, so we can buy stuff not made in China, LOL...

Walmart and other retailers buy from china as american consumers have forced them to. We want to pay less and less for things. If prices rise a little we go to another store where things are slightly cheaper. These guitar sell because people keep buying them. If it makes you fell any better the chinese dont like to buy chinese products if they can avoid it.

i bought my valveking which is chinese made. had to have all the joints in the thing resoldered, as they started coming loose. and the pre-amp tubes burned out in the first few months.

i was talking to a guy from china, who was saying that BMW manufacture most of their cars in china. u think that guy was just full of it ?

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Every person and every culture has their own concerns in life. The chinese want to earn more money and have a better life just like we do. They dont have a consumer driven society like ours. They dont just buy things because its for sale or looks cool. So they have to have other markets for their products. Enter us, we love to buy things, things we dont need or have uses for. And we like to buy things for cheap. The chinese simply fill this market. When I was a kid it was taiwan and hong kong, then korea, now china. Now all the factories are packing up in china and going to places where the labor is even cheaper and are no environmental laws etc. When I was there a month ago 14,000 factories were closing in 1 state alone. Think of that many jobs being lost here. So next year we will all be complaining about the stuff made in vietnam or india.

And some say its simply the chinese dont care what we think. And yep thats true just as americans dont care about other countries/cultures needs or what they think. Its an idiotcentric universe.
