send it to your local technician? open up the back panel first to see if there is anything not connected inside.

you might want to check if your guitar jack isn't loose

EDIT: haven't seen jj's post
...Fender + Ritchie Blackmore = hours and hours of GREAT music and guitar execusions...

yer, its more than likely a dry or disconnected solder joint somewhere, especially if its a fairly cheaply made guitar

Doubt very much all your pickups would fry at one time. Not that pickups go out all the time or anythting anyways. More likely its the output jack. Or cable.
#9
i chekced and everything is wired. i have pics but cant find the cable
#10
what type of pickups? passive?

and just cause the wires are touching the lugs doesnt mean they are making a good connection.

jiggle the switch on the guitar, and make sure you swapped the guitar cable when testing the guitar.

I would assume it's an issue with the wiring.

This same thing happened to me once and I decided to experiment and take out the jack. I discovered that one of the wires had a tiny scorch and sever in it. A trip to my local repair guy remedied the whole thing.

i guess they look like it's on there. you can see the ground is getting a bit frayed.

make sure they are snug on the lugs.

insert a cable into the plug with it out of the guitar.

make sure it clicks, held into place, and contacts the input's arm.

then follow that wire back to the pot. make sure it's connected there.

also, flick the switch see if the pups will come on at all.

a bad switch can also cut out sound.

and you are sure the cable is good right?

i guess you can take of the cover or the pickguard off and take a deeper look.

yeah no guard, then take off whatever pup cover and look.

honestly, every connection has to be checked. nothing else really to say.

maybe a cavity picture.

you inserted the cable into the jack with the jack outside the guitar right?

if it was my guitar, i would heat up my soldering iron and make sure at least one pup is connected correctly. i would check the wires that run to the output, resolder them, get at least one working.

if nothing works. i guess swapping out the volume pot.
