Hey guys. I had a question. I have an Epiphone Les Paul Custom. Im wondering what are the best tone settings to use on my guitar for double hand tapping? Im confused. Also, what are some basics i should learn for hand tapping?

Just a tip I've found useful: Tapping with a pick in your picking hand makes it louder. Maybe it's just cause I have big fingers, but tapping with a pick sounds way better for me.

I find that the neck pickup makes things sound really nice. It gives it a smooth tone and doesn't make your tapping sound like wankery.

generally, if you have a tone that your other stuff sounds good on, then your tapping will sound good as well, but bear in mind that good tone is a subjective thing. Personally, I think a good tone needs a lot of bass and mids.
