My band's bassist and I split the lyrics to this song, meaning that portions are written by myself, and portions by him. It's a slow blues ballad, unlike the other songs I have posted thus far.

I saw you walkin' lonley down the street,

look in your eyes like you done fell forty feet

You just didn't seem the same to me.

I heard you talkin' 'bout somebody's arms, his

embrace was warm, his words were full of charm

He just seemed so alien to me.

So come on, fellas, drink on up

order any drink you please

While I try to dry my eyes, the drinks, the joke's on me.

I saw you later, maybe at the store

I didn't talk; I didn't know you no more

You just seemed so miserable to me.

I found that man you went a-lookin' for, he

said no money doesn't make you poor

Funny thing, I found that man in me.

So come on, fellas, drink on up

order any drink you please

While I try to dry my eyes, the drinks, the joke's on me.
