I'm buying a Jeckson-style neck off Ebay for my build, buut it says it's tuning head holes are drilled to 7/16" (11.1 mm)...

i have yet to find a 7/16" tuning head (preferably in black... lol) anywhere...

reccomendations?

You are most likely going to want tuners with shafts that are SLIGHTLY bigger than the holes. The tuners you're looking for are probably 15/32'' or so.

I'm not sure, I'll look around.

EDIT: These might work...They require 13/32'' holes (just under 7/16''), so you can't really go wrong. As long as the hole you have isn't much too big. You may want to get somebody else's word for it before you go through with this, though.

A liiiittle too pricy... but thanks for the measurement reference.

Just won the neck off eBay, so i'll take it in to the local store and fit'er up with some nice ones.

as long as you have a big enough/thick enough washer to hold it in place it wont matter much if its a couple mm too small

Yeah the Sperzels are pretty expensive, but it's a stanard-ish tuner size so you shouldn't have a hard time.
