I recently changed my old guitar(100$ one, crappy) to a new one(BC Rich KKV) and back when i had my old guitar i used a POD 2 and i thought it had a nice sound. Now i tested it with my newer guitar and it sounds exacly the same... Is it normal? Or is it just because I use a old POD? BTW my new guitar sounds really good on my amp without any effects compared to my old one so the guitar is definitly not the problem. Anyone know if this is normal? Sorry for my bad english btw.

More than likely the guitar you have now has Active EMG pickups. These are fansatics for Tube amps, Terrible for Modeling amps.
