Aw come on, you may not like it but it's a fine amp. Maybe overpriced but if he likes it then he likes it.

Might want to go with the 100 if it plays well low. Cranking the 50 might not be too good

Read, he said a Vintage Modern, which is a Marshall model

I always prefer 100 watts because I think they got more punch but it all comes to personal preferences, but 50 watts is loud enough if it's your question.

100 if its solid state 50 if its tube

a 50 watt tube amp will blow out your windows and impregnate small asian women

if ypu are considering a solid state don't there are great tube amps out there for good prices

I don't like it. I think it's a pretty weak offering from Marshall, and that there's definitely better stuff out there for the price.

I'd go with a 50w just incase you ever wanna expand louder. But another thing to consider is how much watts you can actually put into each amp. You can't blow a speaker by over powering it, you blow it by under powering it. Learned that over the weekend. Good ol' GC. *thumbs up*

Can't blow a speaker by over powering it huh? Try running a 100w tube head into a 15w speaker and let me know of your results.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

its a good amp, alot of people says it bad because its a little more complex to use than other marshalls because for one theres not a straight distortion knob and like all tube amps it needs to be at a loud volume
