I love that bass, I've listened to them on and off for years now...I never knew he built it himself, though. That's impressive!

Man, and saved to my favourites. What an awesome concept for a bass.

Two things I love and totally see the appeal of, even though I'll never, EVER listen to them is a) folk metal, and b) psychobilly.

EDIT: Upon further listening, that has to be the worst SOUNDING bass I've heard. However... it's a friggin COFFIN!!

I was looking at a used Warwick Vampyre LTD 5'er for about $200. I went home to grab my wallet and came back and some jerk with an epic beard got it already..

Reverend Horton Heat > every other psychobilly band.

Infact, I hate psychobilly, but the Rev is awesometastic.

HE DOESNT SING ABOUT HORROR THEMES IN ALL OF HIS SONGS YANO?

Plus his bassist has some cool lines.
So an irishman walks out of a bar.

personally i think he looks like a douche thats trying to hard. but good on him for building a bass.
My red is so confident that he flashes trophies of war and
ribbons of euphoria

I don't really like the look of the bass, and it sounded bad, I like the band though, I like their songs when he uses a proper UB

Thats GONNA sound better though isn't it, its a studio recording. They can mess about with the sound as much as they like in the studio. The live version will be closer to the real sound
