I have a mac, and I have XP running as a virtual machine. This may be completely unrelated to the problem but in case it is I thought I would say it.

Whenever I try to watch anything on youtube, or any sort of video in windows, the video plays at about a third of the speed (i counted, every second in the video takes 3 seconds to play) and there is no sound.

Does anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it? I have a feeling it has something to do with the video driver?

There's your problem.

Then use it. Why the hell would you use XP when you can use OSX?

sounds like you have XP installed wrong.

I have no opinion on this matter.

Not sure if you're British or not, so I'll explain. I want to use 4OD, which is one of those catchup websites if you missed something on TV. For some reason, they only let it work in Internet Explorer, and obviously that's not going to run in OSX.

That's why I want to use it

Most likely it is some kind of error with your internet browsers flash player. Try to reinstall it, or find a new one if there exists one. Also what kind of browser are you using?
