i have had a sudden urge to buy a bc rich assassin
its nothing like their usual toy metal guitar fare
proper ofr and thru neck
i cant really play it to try it out because i removed the tip of my finger whilst chopping wood (is healing nicely)

anybody know about the pick ups?
and how it plays?

well you have to take into concideration what the neck is like, if you can't try it then how do you know if you would like the neck?

i am not against buying online but i tend to only buy guitars online from brands where i have a strong understanding of how thick/thin their average necks are

and.....Bronze warlock ftw.....

ouch about your finger. Looks like a good guitar, you might wan to swap the pickups if you don't like them. Looks like a great guitar.

The B.C. Rich Assassin PX3, featuring a licensed Floyd Rose Tremolo and Rockfield SWV pickups, is one screaming mean Assassin!

Well you could, god forbid, I know how drastic this sounds: wait for your finger to heal up?
Funny words.
