the volume on everything is turned all the way up its not on mute its not the speakers becuz i played my ipod through them

Type this in Run in the Start menu.. services.msc.....
Then double click windows audio then click Stop and Start. try it.

try bashing the computer around a bit, go to the store and claim it was delivered like that then BOOM you'll have a computer with speakers that work

I've had this happen before due to adware clashing in my system, try this:
Get a software called Malwarebytes,
Run a quick scan.
If it doesn't work I'm sorry but it fixed my sound problem right up.
