what happens when my music exceeds the space of my ipod? when i sync up my ipod does it leave the same songs out each time? or does it choose random songs or what?

You'll have a playlist named '[iPod name] iPod Selection'. If you upload it before it has exceeded, it puts its own random selection of songs on.

You'll be fine, the limit for *8GB iPods are 7.43GB I believe (judging from mine).
