Tommorrow im off to invest in a new amp, and im looking for help.

I'm looking for a tube head+cab

My price limit is £500 ($900?)

I play a wide range of things, as i'm into heavy indie/rock, and i play most things.

Ideas so far:
peavy valve king
Laney GH-50L

so does anyone have any ideas?

I'll probably be going to the shop and seeing what they have in stock and what they personally recomend, so when im playing the amps that they choose what should i do to test them, just play a wide range of songs?

many thanks

Ide save up abit more too!
Personally im a marshall guy, but take a look at Laney amps, theyre good quality for the money. The new Line6 Spider Valve heads are good im told.

VKs are nice. If you need metal-style gain and dont have an OD, get the Laney. Otherwise, the VK will do w/e you want it to.
