i've had this one for a while
but i heard that a simple pick up change can drastically improve its sound

i play hard rock, alternative, and sometimes jazz (i kno it really doesnt go with the other two that nicely)
but based on that, which pick up is best for it's price?

i can't afford like a 200 dollar pick up, but i may want to get something that can actually make a difference

some seymour duncan sh-1 and sh-11's. It says on their website which goes where. They are like 70 something dollars a piece.

he is not really a metal player; we pretty much listen to the same stuff

i've seen some people saying that epi lp isn't as great as its price suggests, but the thing is,
omen 6 is a $299 guitar and epiphone lp is like a $400 guitar....
obviously by looking at the price, it looks like epi lp is a better guitar

and i can't really tell him which is better
