if your in the UK see if u can get hold of one of the cheap sound control models maybe - they have models under £100 new that arent too bad - heres some examples:

Id advise going to one of the shops and testing em before buying em tho, partly cos they might be rubbish and partly because a lot of sound control stores are closing and various peoples orders have been cancelled

Well if you're actually going to put the whole system in the guitar, make sure it has active pickups. My telecaster doesn't have the power to put a decent signal through my kaoss pad, but my active SG does.
Telecaster - SG - Jaguar
Princeton Reverb, Extra Reverb
P-Bass - Mustang Bass
Apogee Duet 2 - Ableton Suite

wouldnt it be easier for you just buy a mini kaoss pad and not mount it into the guitar in my opion it looks great in matt bellamys guitars but when you see peoples sg's and strats with kaoss pads built in it just looks cheap and tacky. its probably not gonna be worth all the hassle to do really for what youll use it for its just as easy to use it on the floor for example 2,40 into micro cuts matt uses his kaoss pad on the floor

also you do realise that you will have to buy 2 kaoss pads which will be very costly one to remove the touch pad to install in the guitar and the other to be on the floor that the touch pad on your guitar will control
