So I just bout an Epi Les Paul from a kid that doesnt really know anything about guitars. I tried figuring out as much as I could about it and havent really got much.

http://www.guitardaterproject.org/epiphone.aspx
I used that website to find out it was made in 1999.

The serial number is: U9907085

It has the Epiphone Limited Edition seal on the back of the headstock.

Its red with trapezoid inlays. It looks almost exactly like the guitar at this link:

without the snake thing. It has a red and black pickup in the bride and just a regular black on in the neck.

Can Someone help me. What model is this? How much did they cost new?

Send link to any information.

Thanks

I think the pickups on your guitar were upgraded is all. I could be wrong. look for writing on the pickups.

What's the construction like? Bolt-on or set neck? What binding does it have (if any)?
Yes, I know everything. No, I can't play worth a damn.

yes im very aware he had different pups. Do you not realize how few used guitars there are on the market with their original pups? Thats why in my OP i said something like this.

did you notice the last few words "that could be the original" and the fact I had already suggested the pick-ups were changed in the post I had already made?

Yeah that might explain the logo (Slash's Snake Pit) on the guitar (the one the TS said it was like). Also said that it didn't have that logo though...
