Well i'm in need of a practice amp, i want a vox ad30vt or ad30vt-xl.
I play classic rock, blues to glam metal. I like playing Guns N Roses, Motley crue, Queen and stuff.
I think both amps are awsome, im aware the XL is suited for heavy rock and metal, any other opinions and facts that will help me decide on what amp to get?

Many Thanks.
James

P.S will my boss gt-8 work with this amplifier?
cheers

well lets say for distortion? or maybe reverb and delay pedals? I know it already has the effects option in it but I dont have the switch itself and I need to sometimes switch inbetween and out.

using distortion on the clean channels sounds great, depending on what kind of pedal you have. As for the delay and reverb i have found them to sound just as good on the AD30VT than on any other amp. So if you are hesitating to buy a pedal because of the amp, go ahead and buy it, but make sure to try it out at your music store first.

Also, I would consider buying the footswitch, it is a usful little thing to have.

If you already have one cable to plug into your amp, you only need to buy one more. They are only about 8 bucks.

Even for heavy stuff, don't get the XL. The regular AD with a pedal will sound miles better.

Ok thank you very much!
Do both amps have the preamp/valve or what not inside?
