Hey guys, what do you know about warehouse speakers? Are they any good. I was thinking about getting 8 veteran 30's or green berets to put in my peavey cabs. How do they compare to celestions. Thx guys.

Well, I have a Veteran 30 in my Ampeg J-20, a fairly bright amp that I play with a strat. Compared to a Celestian V30, it's a lot less spikier in the upper mids, and dosn't really "icepick" like a V30 does. Past that, it's a quality speaker.

I'm guessing he means they don't have the harsh mid-spike like V30s do.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.
