Brand new song, would appreciate your critique. I experimented a lot with this one to become more familiar with editing, effects, etc in garageband...so let me know if anything is overkill or whatever. I'd recommend listening at a high-ish volume. C4C of course.

It's refreshing to hear somthing other than metal for once here. And something good aswell!! Hehehe. I did really enjoy listening. You used some inventive effects and the whole thing sounded pretty together. The presence of the vocals was particularly nice and defined.

Here we go -- returning crits,

Liked the intro and the fuzz. Digging the vocals, I wish they were louder though man! Boost them! Vocals are huge for me and yours sound good, so I want to hear them! The guitar is a cool tone and the drums fit even though they are simple. Keep it up, give me a jingle if you ever post one with boosted vocals

Not really much to say on this one. It's pretty solid. Song-writerly, I would maybe look into some more variation, as it feels a bit same-y.

Production is good, I thought the vocal levels were fine, sounded nice. Is that a chorus on both the guitar and the vocals, though? If so, might want to change one of those; it sounded a bit odd to me. Otherwise, well done.

If you'd look at mine:

Much appreciated.

Nice song, really digg the vibe at the beginning. I think the vocals are a little low in the mix and could come up a bit. Some percussion could add some more flare to the song, something like bongos, congas, or a tambourine. Maybe a guitar solo would be nice too. Overall, sweet tune, very good work!

I definitely agree with the concensus, you should definitely bring the vocals up so they are more prominant. Also, more lead guitar.

Very nice, great quality recording. The guitar is perhaps a little high in the mix, the vocals are hard to hear and I can only just make out the kick drum. As far as the vocals do go though, I'm impressed. Really fits the mood, and sound great.

I also second that a guitar solo would be nice; the song is practically begging for one at the 3 minute mark Then perhaps after the solo it could break down a little, and make more of the backing vocal thing you had going about 3:15.

Overall though, great work. Mind giving this a listen? https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=872216
