Okay my internet is ****ed, I'm online in a internet cafe, i'm not going to get another service provider so no useless comment's like "AOL sucks"

i have AOL broadband and about 1hour or 2 ago it just switched off and everytime i tried to re connect in the connection boxes it goes to "looking for Aol through TCP/IP" and it never did that then it come's up with the error message's. Usualy it would say i think "connecting through DSL modem".

I went through all the suggested options and nothing helped what has happened and how could i resolve this?

I know you don't want to hear this, but AOL sucks. It really does.

Otherwise I suppose you could reset everything.

TS, whenever I see your username, I misread it as "isuckhardcocks."

Just had to get that out there.

tried it, 30minute wait.

All type of networking sucks whether its social networking or other form of networking .
you are in a cafe so why not look for another provider . Ask the owner of the cafe . Who is his ISP ? . His internet is working smoothly

indeed you have.
AOL is the worst of all ISPs.

I had more problems with BT and Pipex than AOL.

Checked your router settings? Reset the router?
Disconnect everything, then put it all back together.
Usually works for me.
