What do you want to know?
It would work just fine, if that's what you want to hear.
Installing pickups is not that hard, but if you are unfamiliar with a soldering iron, go to a guitar tech.

But the most important thing is: What do you want to achieve by replacing the pickups? What type of music do you play?

Just buy his signature guitar then, it's a total waste of the guitar if you're not going to use it stock or use vintage pups instead of ones for shred.

but i dont want to have scalloped frets.. otherwise i would've buy it

Then get a standard strat, you're just wasting a perfectly good guitar if what you mainly are concerned with is a pup-swap.

Malmsteen has a humbucker in the bridge and singlecoils in the mid and neck positions if I recall correctly.
