I'm filling out an application for a guitar store, and it asks "Are you a working musician? If so, please explain." What does it mean by 'working musician'?

I record people... does that count?

probably if you are part of the musicians union/recive PRS royalties (ie. when your music is played you recive money)
" Did You know, in Tibet, if they want something, do you know what they do? They give something away."

"Do they ? That must be why they're such a dominant global power."

this, but it says please explain, which means that it is quite open....if you are a regular on market street playing guitar, say, every saturday 1 - 5, and people throw money into ur gig-bag, then you are a working musician. stuff like that.

it probably means that your sole income is dependent on your ability to produce music. i would put that you are an engineer or whatever you want to call yourself.

It generally means; "Are you regularly playing and getting paid for it"

just say yes, it'll probably help you get the job.

and if they find out you actually don't meet the standards of a "working" musician, just say it was a mistake.
