No.
I've never tried.
I don't play the type of music, and even after four years, I'm nowhere near that fast. I don't really WANT to be ridiculously fast though. It's not that important to me.
ok, yeah. my name is silly because I signed up when I was 13.

No. I've never learned to sweep either. I'm not a metal head.

Actually they can. I hate dragonforce but they can play there stuff. Not live though because there always ****ed up.

The difficulty of Dragonforce is way over rated. There songs aren't even close to the hardest songs in metal.

If I bash my forehead against the fretboard at random intervals it sounds quite similar to some of the live versions of DragonForce I've heard.
#16
Nah Dragonforce is for guitar wannabe and GH addicted

+ they suck live.
#19
All a person has to do to play dragonforce is **** up all the solos and *bAM* you just replaced Sam & Herman Li.

There is really no point to this thread. Wow, they can play insanely fast, they still don't have good songwriting skills.
I'm the same as I was when I was six years old
And oh my god I feel so damn old
I don't really feel anything

Have any of the people who say they suck live actually seen them live?

I have, and they most definitely did NOT suck. The solos were spot on and they put on a great show. I don't give a damn about what a youtube video says, I know they're good live.
#26
a few years back i was able to when my playing sucked and was sloppy. iv moved on to better things since then.

true.....they cant handle the speed on stage.
#28
I could, because fast != good != hard. I don't really want to spend the time though.

I can defiantly play it if I only have to play it as good as they do live.

Learn some Nile instead.

No I've never learned one and will never either.

Heres a real one to mention:
How many can play a full Necrophagist or Psycroptic song?

those are real bands with skill.

-sigh- I remember when this board was praising DF for being one of the best examples of how to fuse speed with melodic metal... way back in my lurking days...

Anyway, yes, I learned TtFatF, just because so many GH players think it's "teh Br00tals," and it impresses people. Just like Freebird and Bark at the Moon.

Wow, a single performance from three years ago. That obviously shows that they have never played a song well ever

Let's compare you now to you three years ago, shall we?

They have become much, much better recently. Check out their performance at Download '07. You can see it on their MySpace.
